“One of the nicest beds I’ve slept in, outside of a Premier Inn! Lovely pub, and the staff were very helpful. Max especially stood out as a true professional and a credit to the team. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay again, mainly because the road noise was very loud due to the lack of secondary double glazing and the leaded windows. “We stayed in the department down the street, apart from the hotel's main building. Its beautifully decorated interiors made us very happy throughout our stay. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and we had to keep the windows open to keep cool, which led to spiders and noise from the main street coming in. The back garden needs a little bit of love, too. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay!”
