Breitenburg delivers the total package!

Absolutely wonderful weekend retreat! The setting in the english garden style surroundings by the river is so beautiful and the hotel itself is a wonderful blend of historic and modern. Café Johann delivers on all levels and the wellness area topped it all off. Our warmest recommendations!

Made a reservation and as I was travelling with a dog we made sure this was made aware of as the hotel allow pets according to hotels.com. Upon arrival we were told pets are not allowed. The hotel did t take any responsibility to arrange other solutions nor had decency to appologise. We even wrote them a letter afterwards to make them aware. They couldn’t be bothered to even reply to this. So please stay away from this establishment as they are unserious.

Alles sehr einladend, Empfang, gutes Frühstück. Nur wenn das Bett gemacht und das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll muss man selbst aktiv werden und das Schild an die Tür hängen. Das wird leider vorher nicht gesagt; steht aber - wenn man sich Zeit nimmt alles zu lesen - auf einem Blatt im Zimmer.

Vom Check in bis zum Check out war alles super, als wirklich klitzekleine Anregung wären vielleicht kleinere Schälchen für die Salate (Fleischsalat, Geflügelsalat) und Mett gut, das kann man dann besser portionieren. Auch ein Butterautomat, der die Butter Portionsgerecht raus gibt spart da bestimmt Ressourcen. Aber das Frühstück war sehr gut mit sehr hochwertigen Lebensmitteln. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich. Ein Fernseher im Sofabereich zusätzlich wäre noch schön.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mitten in der Natur. Das Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend und sehr frisch. Besonders das Buffet am Abend hatte es uns angetan. Einfach hervorragend! Auch der Spa-Bereich ist sehr schön, beim Pool zwischenzeitlich allerdings sehr voll. In den Ruheräumen ist es im Verhältnis zum Poolbereich leider sehr kühl, weshalb das nicht immer eine Alternative war. Auch das Wasser des Pools ist im Verhältnis zur Luft sehr kalt, uns hat ein Whirlpool mit wärmerem Wasser gefehlt. Wasser, Kaffee, Tee und Obst stand jederzeit kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Die ein oder andere Liege könnte demnächst mal eine neue Auflage vertragen, sie waren aber alle sehr bequem. Die Aussicht direkt in die Natur war toll! Das Zimmer war sehr schön, wir haben ein kleines Upgrade erhalten. Es war geräumig, modern und sehr sauber. Insgesamt ein stimmiges Ambiente und eine ruhige Umgebung zum Schlafen. Die Toilette ist mit einer semi-durchsichtigen Scheibe abgetrennt, das ist sicher nicht für jeden etwas. ;-) Das Personal ist durchweg sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und sicherlich sind die hier genannten Punkte Kritik auf hohem Niveau. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder.

Ein Hotel der Spitzenklasse zum Runterfahren und Entspannen! Der Spa-Bereich mit großem Pool und Kamin lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Anwendungen sind professionell und das Personal ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattung im Hotel und den Zimmern ist sehr stylisch, neuwertig und man fühlt sich überall wohl. Das Frühstück sowie Abendessen war sehr lecker und die Nahrungsmittel stammen vielfach von regionaler Herkunft. Nur die Umgebung hat nicht so viel zu bieten, wenn man kein Golf spielt oder reitet. Alles in allem lässt dieses Hotel keine Wünsche offen.

God og meget lækker aftenbuffet, som desværre allerede lukkede kl 21 - men jeg nåede det lige… Lækkert hotel som er i tip- top stand og rigtig lækre værelser. Rigtig god spa og sauna område. Stor og god morgenmad buffet også. Masser af parkeringspladser - 10 eur er måske lidt overkill - man kunne have holdt ude ved vejen tæt ved gratis… Godt wifi. Priserne er i den dyrere ende. Venligst og imødekommende personale. Manglede en minibar. Super gode senge og store værelser
