I love the cabin/ condo! We were in the the 4th floor so those steps were a work out! The property was clean, peaceful and was a pretty descent space for us! We enjoyed the balcony most of and loved the fact there was a fully functioning kitchen! We will be back

The room was moderately clean (toilet was not clean and several spiders in room and family room area), no was bedding provided for the pullout and not enough pillows for master or pullout couch. The Grass cutting service team started at 7 am on Sunday as well as trash truck at 5am on Monday which woke us up both days. Access to dishwasher and washer and dryer was great. Pools and hot tub access was also nice. The price of the weekend stay was affordable and was really easy to get to silver dollar city.

Our suite was clean and in good shape. The kitchen area had everything one would need and was clean. The bathroom was also clean. The outside of the building appeared that they was some kind of up keep going on but also a lil like it needed some attention, ie. The outside stairs (we had four flights of them) needed cleaned off. We did not use the pool area but there is an outside and indoor pool on the property. The area was quiet and we felt safe durring our whole stay. Beautiful views of Table Rock Lake from our balcony. The drawback was on arrival we could not find where to check in, finally found a note on the door of the clubhouse, that was closed for renovations, that told us where to go three miles back from where we came from to check in. (Had we been told we could have stoped there) Then the check in was a bit of a procedure that included being pressed to attend a time share meeting. We had to continue to decline that for a bit and they didn’t bother us anymore about that after that. All in all we had a great time and the price was great for the suit we got.

Loved the amount of space. House was beautiful and location was great ! Was not made aware that we had to go to another location for check in which was inconvenient since we had just traveled 12 hours and was ready to relax. Would have liked to have locks on inside of front door, it automatically locked so no one from outside could just walk in but had no way to stop anyone from going out. I have 2 toddlers and they were able to open front door easily because we couldn’t secure it. Overall had a good experience.

Here’s the deal.. felt like I was in a 70’s sitcom.. old and outdated. Not what the pictures showed. Yes the view was decent and the people I dealt with were very nice. But there were no comforts in the condo. No soap for bathing or conditioner.. had to check in at another location then go back the building which felt abandoned since there were no people or cars around! A little odd and not what I expected.. sorry to say. Ended up having to stay somewhere else 😞

I dont normally write long reviews but we had the worst experience here and feel like it needs to be addressed. Firstly if you book this place on Expedia be aware the phone number they give you is incorrect. No one answers the phone. Also states that if you’re going to be later than a 10 pm check in to call and let them know. Again no one answers the phone so we were stressed about that. And don’t bother contacting Expedia because they will tell you it’s a “personal problem” that we will check in late and can’t get a hold of anyone. The address they give you is not where check in is at. You have to drive 12 minutes away to check in. Then drive back to the cabins. Thankfully the people at the front desk were very nice ! This property is definitely older. The fire place had broken pieces on it with wires exposed. Dead bugs on the floor. Couch were definitely old and worn. Beds are very uncomfortable. Carpet and rugs could definitely be replaced. Overall just not very clean. My kids were excited for the jet tub. After they got out there was black stuff all in it. Not from my children! I would not recommend using the jets. If you have small children the front door does not have a lock from the inside so they easily can get it open. We ended up having to most the small chair in front so our 1 year old couldn’t get out where there is lots of stairs. This property is on an extremely steep hill. Probably the steepest road I’ve ever seen. 1 pro. Close to SDC

Check in was an awful process. There was back tracking and a 15 minute plus drive away from the property to check in. Photos of the property were misleading and unacceptable compared to the building assigned.

When we arrived there was a 10ft section of carpet wet. Called, not sure if anyone came by. Stayed wet the whole 4 days. The check in was a complete nightmare because no info was exchanged and we had no clue of our room number or code. It was a scavenger hunt for check in. We werent alone in this scavenger hunt. Several people were looking as well. It needs to be changed. Otherwise we enjoued our stay. The people who finally did help us were freat and understood our frustration because they share the same frustration with not receiving our info so they could send us what we needed.

The two story cottage that was advertised and is what I based the booking on, was not what we were provided. Instead, we were placed in a 4 story apartment like building, on the 4th floor with no elevator, and lugging up all of our items in 94 degree, high humidity heat was unacceptable. This was an absolute bait and switch. I would never book with them again.

The place we rented was advertised as a two story cabin and what we got was a unit in a condo with people above, below, and on the sides of us. It’s very misleading. The whole experience wasn’t the best either. They had the check in location closed down for construction when we arrived so we had to drive to another location about 20 mins away. Once we arrived we waited in 3 different lines for about an hour. The front desk asked for my credit card and charged me additional “resort fees.” Obviously, I don’t appreciate that since I already paid the agreed upon price in the Expedia app. If I thought I was going to be charged more, I would have picked a different place. Then we drove back 20 mins to the place we were staying at and only to find more construction on the deck and a unit that differed completely from our purchased property. A condo is very different from a private 2 story cabin. Just left feeling like we got taken advantage of. :(

I read the previous review and thought we were in trouble. The cabin has seen some wear, but it is clean. Not out of the 70's at all. We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for six of us. The rooms are large and could easily accomodate littles. We did not experience anything negative.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Screened back porch was nice to have. Parking at my cabin was very tight and could only fit 1 car. Others had more room for parking. It was close to both silver dollar city and the lake. I do suggest that you call the management company, Capital Vacations, and confirm your trip as soon as you book through expedia. Contact Stormy Point Village to confirm your reservation and get checkin / check out information.

We had no view, it was cabins in all directions except for a tiny wooded area behind the house. It was not ground level entry. We had a flight of stairs to the front porch and then another flight of stairs for the two other bed rooms. Upstairs AC unit went out on the second day, maintenance was able to repair it the next day.

Nice two bedroom condo for an excellent price. Nice partial view of the lake. Hard place to find. First, Google sent me to the wrong place, then the right place was hard to find. No signage on the road or on the building. Then when I got there, I found out I had to drive five miles away to another resort to check in. The check in location was also hidden away and very difficult to find I felt like I was on a scavenger hunt. Then, when I checked in I found out it was a time share deal which explained the cheap price.

The room was nice size and clean. Their was a lot of bird poop all over the stairs. Check in was a mess they were not at the property when we arrived we had to drive 12 miles away to get checked in and the 12 miles back . Needs better signs on where the rooms are. There was nothing in the email about any of the changes. We ask to be in lower level with no stairs and the put us on the second floor with 18 steps when called they said none were available but I never seen anyone on the lower lever. And we had to put a 250.00 down for damages and nothing was in the email again . We will probably never stay again. The only the view was nice.

The place has a lot of potential, nice view from the deck,, good price, like the layout, good location, but also a lot of issues, other rooms may have been better, ours shouldn't have been rented out. 1)The office wasn't on site. 2) They had 1 packet of regular coffee in the room, we had to call to have more delivered & you couldn't get more than 4 at a time, we were there 9 days, we had to call again to get more 3) Wasn't vacuumed 4) Mold & ceiling falling apart as well as water dripping through from above in the room for the hot water heater & furnace/AC. 5) Lost power, just our unit, got power back but A/C didn't come back on 6) The (2) patio door screens were in very bad shape, torn & bent 7) A broken glass in cabinet 8) One of the ceiling fans was out of balance or not tightened properly to ceiling, very wobbly & noisy unless it was on high

Booked through Expedia got to the Lodges at Table Rock only to find there is no desk, no on site help, and just a note on a door that says call Stormy Pointe. Called Stormy Pointe they said we had to go to their location to check in. Drove over there to check in the ladies were great and THEN we were directed to go over to the other counter to get a parking pass. We were getting set up with Sadey to get the parking pass and then she started talking about a $200 entertainment card for sitting through their speal on time shares. I was good with us (both my best friend and myself) doing it, so she asked for a drivers license and credit card, we gave them to her, as we thought she was using this as like 2 forms of ID, as she is entering my best friend's info in, she said they were going to put a $100 hold on our credit card. Now, I get the timeshare speals I've done them before in PCB and Myrtle Beach, but they never put a $100 hold on credit card. So I asked what we needed to give a credit card for and why $100 hold because i don't authorize any charges, she said its just a charge that would be pending for 24 hours and wouldn't actually charge our card. I quickly said No, thats not going to happen i don't authorize any charge or hold on my card.. this guy standing at the same counter pipes in and interupts rudely to say "well are planning on not showing up?" To which i said no, if I'm signing up to go why would i not show? He said the hold is to ensure i show up to their speal..

The property itself: It’s fine. The company that runs it (Stormy Point Vacations/Capital Vacations)…. Sketchy to say the least. You have to go to another resort (Stormy Point) to check in. We were delayed due to a wreck 10 mins from check in and was told we had to come there to get the entry code. When we finally arrived just before midnight, we were instructed they had to collect the ‘Resort Fees, because Expedia doesn’t collect them’. When l initially refused because I didn’t tell them to list their property on Expedia, I had a receipt that stated I was paid in full, AND I had called the day prior and received a confirmation email and NOTHING was mentioned about additional ‘Resort Fees’. The response I was given was: ‘well I can’t check you in without collecting’. Because it was midnight, and my family was beyond exhausted, I told her I would pay it, but I would be leaving a review and creating a report with Expedia. The clerk also stated ‘I hope yall don’t need anything when you get over there, because I don’t have anyone to send you’ .. Really?! 2 families behind us were complaining because they were staying at the resort at check-in and had no water upon arrival that afternoon and still no water. Also- be prepared to wash everyday. They only provide you with minimal towels (we had a 2 bed and were provided 4 towels) and no housekeeping services. Like I said- property was decent but due to management and deceptive additional fees… Would not recommend.
