The stay was great. Evergreen is one of the few that I would recommend. It's not luxurious or anything, but for the price you pay, it's well worth it. I would absolutely stay here again.

We reserved four rooms. One of the rooms had a pair of boxer shorts in the bathroom behind the door. A couple of the rooms the bathroom doors wouldn't shut all the way. There's soap dispensers in the shower and by the sink but none of them work. There is like blood or something on the wall. There were clothing tags on the bathroom floor in one room. The pool is covered so I wouldn't consider that and amenity. There is no breakfast they don't have a permit. The ice machine only works part time. The office is closed all throughout the day and if you ring the ring camera you have to bring multiple times before you get a response. I could go on and on but I won't. I will say it is pretty hard to disappoint me as long as the property is clean it's no big deal I can deal with outdated.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean when we went in it was cooled down. The air conditioner had been running. We were very pleased with the room. My only critique for most hotels today is they don't come in during your stay and tidy up the room while you're gone. However, that's totally understandable, but I remember when they used to come in and freshen up the towels and everything in between your days that you're there.

The check-in staff was very friendly! This was truly a place to sleep, so, I don't know about breakfast or such. But, the cleanliness was not there. We have stayed at a lot of "budget" hotels/motels. I don't expect 5-star, but cleanliness is still important! I had to clean the sink and faucet before using it. The floors were unswept and there was noticeable hair in the tub. Overall, the lack of cleanliness is why we won't stay again and the reason for the low review.

The manager Chris gave us a great deal and he was very helpful and pleasant but the properly in itself needs a lot of improvement and I understand they are under new management and changes may be happening. The beds/pillows are good. The cleaning of the room was poor and the faucets are rusted and maybe even moldy. I do see potential in this hotel. Some updates will definitely make it better but the pricing was EXCELLENT.

The hotel is under new management and they are in the process of updating and renovating. My husband and I had a clean bed to sleep in, a cool room to be in, a hot shower to wake up to, and a tv to watch. The room served its purpose. The location is great! It will be much better once the updates are made.
