Quarterdeck was amazing! The property is beautiful with all of our rooms overlooking Gull Lake. Big balconies with chairs to sit outside and watch the sunset or sunrise over the lake. Rooms have either a full kitchen or a kitchenette. The amenities in the rooms were great. I typically don’t sleep well in hotels because the beds are uncomfortable but the beds here were amazing! I woke up feeling so well rested, and not sore from an uncomfortable bed. We will definitely be bringing the kids and grandkids back up for a family vacation!

We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel area. The lake view is great, the room was clean, the food was very good, and the wait staff were friendly and punctual. If you bring a boat and rent a slip, make sure to bring bumpers. The ones on the dock can be crooked or even the pads are missing. This isn't a real big deal but for $50 a day, I think someone could check them and straighten or replace. I asked one of the employees how we get rid of our trash and they said just throw it outside the entrance to the building and it will get picked up. We went somewhere, returned about 4 hours later and there were 10 bags of trash by the door. Maybe put a box or some sort of trash container there. Looked "tacky."
