Vacations Close To Bradbury Mountain State Park

It's a decent hotel in the process of doing some renovations. The restaurant does not appear to be open at the moment which was not a hardship for us. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk folks were great during the day. At night, while trying to call for the shuttle one night the desk did not answer at all. The next night, the clerk gave us a bit of a runaround. But the shuttle drivers were awesome and made sure we were not left stranded downtown. Would stay here again.

The room was very clean and nice. The only thing that was not so great was the loud motor going on and off for some of the night. Otherwise it was great!

Walking distance of plenty of restaurants. Off site parking easy to find.

For the price I would expect more amenities. The “free” food by the elevator was pretty sparse with a broken ice machine and coffee maker

Hotel and staff were great. A ton of things to see and do, Also so many great restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. Only thing we weren’t a fan of was the valet parking. Took us about 10 minutes waiting for attendant to finally check us in so we could then check in to the hotel itself. The hotel charges $40 per night for valet parking. Once we got there I found there was a parking lot right across the street that had overnight parking for $30. In the future I would use that parking lot as it would be easy to use that lot. Only other complaint was the construction of another hotel right next door. It was quite noisy from 9am to 5pm. Not that we spent a lot of in the room but it was an issue when walking around or dining in the surrounding area. Otherwise our stay was very enjoyable. Neither of those two issues would prevent us from going back.

The rooms were good and opened into a little patio, but there was a stink of smoke that wouldn't leave us. We had to get a room freshener. Also, there is no 24 hours accessible water fountain. The water dispenser is in the gym that closes at 10pm and we were compelled to buy waters. It is kind of sad.
