Good comfortable stay

The rooms are remote from the pub. Plenty of parking with cctv cameras . We had a twin room which was cozy but too small for two adults . Ensuite was nice with a good shower . Beds were comfortable and we both slept well The area was quiet and tree lined The pub was nice the food was very well priced and very tasty As a seasoned traveller it nice to see tasty good valued food .We ate there a few times because of this .

Mattresses need an upgrade

A clean, basic room. Large, good shower. Clean linen. Couple of items broken such as the lamp. However the most vital thing in my opinion for a quick 1 night stop over is a comfortable bed & these ones really let it down - mattresses very poor to the point that you could feel springs. Upgrade the mattresses & you would for us instantly go up 2 stars ***

It was a last minute booking, and after staying at the guest house, thought I'd try them again. Pleased they could fit me in, but in the pub rather than guest house. Fitted my needs perfectly.

Disappointed, couldn’t reach plugs one begins bed which we had to pull bed out and headboard was broken,other behind cupboard had to pull that out to get to , no where to do hair had to reach my hair straighteners round to bathroom as no mirror in bedroom. Carpet needed cleaning, ceiling in bathroom covered in mould. All in all wouldn’t stay again

Pretty bad

The room appeared clean but there was a dreadful smell for the entirety of our stay. When we arrived the windows were already open, which makes me suspect that the smell was noticed by cleaning staff. Unfortunately, we did not have time to ask for a room change as we left to attend an event shortly after arriving. In addition, both mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and probably need replacing. There was also what appeared to be a dead cockroach found in the bed the next morning. Sadly, this was far from being an adequate stay even at the low price paid.

Good Value for a quick one night stay

For the price you pay, you get a comfortable bed and private bathroom so good value for a quick one night stay. Unfortunately the room smelt like an ash tray after walking in the for first time so got a bit getting used to!

Average but value...

A bit run down inside,obviously someone was smoking heavily inside there room,but value for money, shower was good has a kettle fridge some clean plates and cutlery .

Ok if you want a quick cheap stop

A handy cheap place for a quick stop. Not well marked and you have to go the pub on the other side to check in. Had very noisy guests next door and could barely sleep. Beds are very basic. Else it is functional enough.
