Don’t turn up between 14.00 and 16.00!

Surprised to turn up after a 5 hour drive to discover the hotel reception locked at 15.10. The sign showed reception open from 6 until 22.00 … Otherwise, pretty much what you’d expect for the money - but a nice quiet location.

I have stayed here once or twice a year for the past six years. Every time a great welcome and all you need for an overnight stop. Lidl store just round the corner and great restaurants les than 10 minutes away.

I have stayed in few hotels worse than this one. The decoration is tired, the staff unhelpful and, after a 6 hour drive, I was told that the restaurant was not open on a Friday night. I had prepaid, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere.

Les avis « excellents » sont certainement de faux avis. L’établissement est dans un état délabré (peintures écaillées, odeur étrange mélangées a de la javel, moquette sale…). Pour ce qui est des chambres, même constat : moquette tachée et sale, chaise non nettoyée, salle de bain plus que douteuse… Nous avions réserver après avoir vu les avis et nous avons était choqués par l’état réel de cet hôtel.
