The room is simple, carpets may not be the newest, the bathroom door resembles a closet sliding door without a lock, but I think it is still very good. The typewriter in the room and a record player (couldn't get it to work) were cute if you like this kind of stuff.
The staff was friendly, helpful. Parking is ridiculously expensive ($70 per night) and there is metered parking on the street which is free on Sundays and at night, so this is what we did.
Breakfast is actually excellent. Lots of choices and decent coffee.
I do wish we used the heated swimming pool, but didn't have the time. It looked lovely, so bring your bathing suits in any weather!
