We had a great time! My second time staying here and my family's first. Everyone enjoyed the lobby DJ Friday night and the chicken pesto sandwich I had at the bar was fantastic! My daughter forgot her hat and water bottle in the truck after we valeted it but Steven at the front door and the other staff rushed to get it for her. I love staying at this hotel for it's great vibe and I feel that it;s a great central hub to get to everything. We grabbed an Uber to Fenway but decided to walk back and honestly it wasn't bad at all. We walked past all the brownstones, stopped into Cheers for a beer, walked up through Beacon Hill and then ate at The Hill Tavern which is across the street from The LIberty. Will definitely stay here again!

Our room on the 3rd floor was noisy all night. There was lots of machinery noises that sounded like motors, elevators and pumps. Often they would wake us up. The floor in our room, especially the bathroom was freezing. We appreciated the location and proximity to the hospitals, which is why we stayed there. There are some delicious restaurants within an easy walking distance, so there's no need to eat at the hotels mediocre restaurants. The staff was very friendly, and there's a nice vibe there.

The Liberty Hotel has a beautiful lobby and nice aesthetic. The history of the hotel and how it was once a jail is interesting but the room was not luxurious or 5 star caliber. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower pressure was weak, and the room had no modern amenities that you would find in other 5 star hotels. The staff were not pleasant at all. My wife and I felt like we didn’t belong there. The check in was not welcoming or accommodating at all. I will not stay here again or recommend to others.
