The hotel is 17 minute walk to Fenway with great places for a bite to eat or drink in the way there. They have a restaurant/bar in the hotel and it is connected to a garage a small mall style food court.

The Longwood’s location is unbeatable if you need proximity to the medical or Mission Hill districts. The parking garage on property and proximity to public transportation make it the perfect hub for getting around the greater Boston area, or getting out of the city. Walking distance to MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner and other sights. Rooms are small, clean, and have the necessities. The showers are not great. I found the food court and restaurant less of a perk than I thought they would be. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and deliberate, and the staff is attentive and polite.

Excellent location for the Longwood area. The lobby was nice. Only one elevator was working. TV did not work. Clock was not accurate. I know these are little things but worth the mention. Attached restaurant was convenient and staff there were very friendly. The cleanliness of the restaurant needs improvement. Lights were covered in dust as were wooden surfaces. Parking was easy.

I really appreciate that the hotel has everything you need and you don’t even need to go outside. The restaurant had great food and I appreciate that the Children’s hospital is basically right next door so we did not need to rent a vehicle. Our room was clean and the staff was kind and helpful.

We booked this room last minute for a concert at Fenway Park. It was half the price of hotels closer to the park. It’s about a half mile flat walk to Fenway so not too bad. It’s a basic hotel but parking is cheap $30 for overnight. They add a $29 fee and will charge $50 if you want to check in early. Just be aware that as it’s in the hospital district there is a lot of sirens and helicopter noise round the clock. The room was clean but very small. Our bathroom door wouldn’t close without shoving it real hard. The bathroom is tiny. There is a refrigerator if you need it and a keurig coffee maker. The beds were comfortable enough.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was disappointing that they didn’t have the station to watch a Red Sox game or be able to pick up a half price pizza after a win. They said that deal was only to eat in person. The maids were nice but knocked on our door while we were sleeping tho ask if our room needed cleaning. A homeless man slept right outside the entrance to the place. The parking voucher machine didn’t work for anyone so the lines were long to get out because they had to check room status for each person,
