Good location, very walkable to Boston Common and restaurants on Charles Street, etc. They DO NOT have a bay view as advertised!! This is annoying as we paid for a bay view room and ended up staring at other buildings. (When I called downstairs to get this figured out, they couldn’t really explain this). Cool interior in the lobby but the rooms and rugs could be cleaner - had a weird cigarette smell wafting into in our room and we should’ve moved rooms in retrospect. Instead when I went down to get some help, the lobby host suggested air freshener and really could care less that someone was smoking in the room below. This was irritating since it is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. The restaurant employees were super helpful and kind so that was a nice part of our stay.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Great lounge behind the lobby, including a super cool water machine that does flavors. Location is great. Staff was lovely. I was looking forward to the rooftop bar, but it wasn’t open during our visit. Bathroom was also a little on the small side. Parking garage is attached to hotel so very convenient.

Staff was friendly, especially the bellman. Misleading with the hotel description. They advertise a rooftop bar and 2 other bars, however, that was not the case. The rooftop was closed because it’s only seasonal. We arrived Thursday and wanted to grab a drink at the lobby bar. We were told it was closed and we could go to the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Front desk told us the lobby bar would open Friday at 4p. After walking 10 miles on Friday we came back to hotel to grab a drink next to the fire in the lobby. When we arrived they had the lobby bar roped off for a private event. So paying hotel guests were not allowed to relax in the lobby area or grab a drink from the lobby bar. The main reason we stayed at this hotel was to check out the rooftop bar and view. Not sure we would go back to this hotel.
