The property is in a good location and is reasonably comfortable. However, the house smelled very moldy so we had to run a fan and an air conditioner all the time to prevent the unpleasant smell (both were in the room). Asa result the room was a bit of a wind tunnel.
Parking was not available on the property so we had to find street parking. It was ok as long as we moved the car every 24 hours and preferably before 9 am and after 9 pm, as that is when it was easiest to find a spot. We were tied to the car, which we were just hoping to leave parked during our visit, and I felt like the parking situation was misrepresented.
One of the neighboring properties had a construction project going on which meant loud sawing and hammering noise starting at 7:30 am. I understand that the bed and breakfast can’t control its neighbors’ activities, but I think charging $ 250 per night in a construction zone without a warning is unfair.
