This is basically a student share, where you will get a room from a kid off for the summer, with shared bathroom (clean enough, but towels provided smelled moldy, so we went out to but a new one). One bed was missing a top sheet, and bottom sheet looked wrinkled, which made us worry about clean sheets. The cleaning lady was very helpful and polite and assured us it was. The kitchen was very clean - but only good for coffee. All warming up food or cooking discouraged. Rooms and hallways could use a fresh paint job, it just felt unkept. Neighborhood felt safe. We did get approached by someone selling stuff in the corner one night, who got upset at us when we ignored him and started yelling obscenities. Mall area near by has plenty options to eat. It seems to get rowdy at night. So if you’re backpacking or you are VERY comfortable with subpar facilities this is a good choice..

I felt unsafe when I first arrived because several people in the property were smoking and being very loud. The same day I contacted Travelocity to cancel my reservation for the remaining 8 days and keep only 2 days so I would have time to find another hotel. However, the hosts contacted me and asked me to leave the very next day. I explained that I planned to stay one more day while I arranged other accommodation, but they still required me to leave and let me stay that day. As a result, I ended up losing the money for the 8 days that I had already canceled and could not use. That was a bad experience! Additionally, I had to carry my luggage up two floors up stairs, which made the situation even more difficult.

If it weren’t for the way the host treated me, this would be a 3–4 star review. The host asks for contact via WhatsApp, which I initially thought was for convenience, but clearly it was so he could be rude outside Expedia’s visibility. I first messaged through Expedia and received no response. When I reached out on WhatsApp with a simple question about luggages, his responses were hostile. He made comments like “make your question intelligible first,” even though my message was polite and simple. He also claimed those were answered via Expedia messages, which I never received. About 12 days before the trip was our first contact. Then, 1 day before arrival, he finally replied on Expedia, only to inform me that we had to go to a different location than the one booked. He did not ask for permission or confirmation. I called Expedia and they told me the host claimed he was “waiting for my approval,” which was untrue. Expedia advised us to go, so we did. Now to the apartment: paper-thin walls, blinds shorter than the window, and a bed next to such window, leaving no privacy and constant bright light on our faces. The room was small, barely fitting luggage for two people. Other guests often left doors unlocked, and although cameras were present, the host seemed unconcerned. He sends a 10-page rules document, but no one followed it, and it was written in the same rude tone as his messages. I would not recommend this place. Pros: close to public transportation and shopping nearby.

There is a new house under construction next door, and the construction work starts at 6:30 AM. If you're planning to sleep past that time, don't expect a quiet morning. Right after making the reservation, I contacted the host through Expedia to cancel my booking. I didn't receive any response for several days. When the host finally replied, the only response was, "Please follow the attached rules," where I discovered that cancellations were only allowed within the first few hours after booking. By that time, the cancellation window had already passed because the host had not responded in time. I tried contacting the host again but never received another reply. As a result, I had no choice but to keep the reservation and stay at the property. Also, the property is located in a residential neighborhood with very limited street parking. There is no dedicated parking available at the property. Not going to stay there again.
