This hotel is a historic, exceptionally clean, with incredible staff at the front desk to help you. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and it is in the middle of everything. You would be wrong not to stay at this hotel. And just set it off the restaurants are exceptional and the bar is great. If you’re looking for a little spooky night, stay in room 325.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Tavern pub and the separate restaurant looked nice but didn’t eat there. Restaurant had live music. The bathroom was small(to be expected in historic hotels). Furniture a little worn but bed was comfortable and linens nice. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

The Hawthorne Hotel is a great hotel and a very convenient place to stay! Very centrally located to downtown and all the activities downtown has to offer. The hotel also has to great restaurants on property, which both are worth a visit.

We travel with our two dogs and if that's you too, this is a great hotel. The staff was so nice and the room was clean. We watched soccer at the Tavern and the food was good. Coffee in the lobby was a huge plus!

It's an older hotel but very nice and attentive staff. They also clean your room daily which is a nice reset. My room was small but had everything I needed and was located in a great spot. I would stay again.

Overall, I really liked this hotel. While I understand it is an older historical hotel, the rooms and bathrooms are small. They could also use some upkeep in terms of painting, etc.. I was impressed with the quality of food at the hotels dining.
