It is in seaport, but you will need to walk another a block and half to the restaurants and water. Lawn on D has a great open bar/ seating. it’s seasonal. This is directly across the street. silver line is a block away if you are interested in public transport. hotel was clean. Hotel bar was decent. breakfast was good. Rooms and bathroom were modern. I would stay again
