“Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

“Fantastic option if staying in the area. Nice bug spacious room. Very helpful staff, and delicious breakfast included. Would recommend and stay again if we were in the area in the future.”

“Highly recommend this beautiful period property and rooms. The bed was so comfortable, views out the windows were stunning, lovely bath tub with shower. Ate dinner in the restaurant, was so fresh and tasty with beautiful views across the golf course whilst eating. The grounds are stunning. The staff are welcoming and friendly and keen to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Can’t fault it, thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“We stayed at Littleover Lodge for 2 nights in the mezzanine room with our toddler whilst visiting family in the area. The room was huge, albeit a bit basic, with a downstairs area that was great for our toddler to play in, and the hotel provided us with a travel cot for him. Everything was clean and tidy. “Good for overnight stay. Breakfast bought separately overpriced but quality & choice were good.”

“Kaylee has been very helpful to reassure me about my parking at the hotel, without extra charge, for arriving and parked earlier, than my check-in time. She has also been extremely helpful in sorting out my presentation notes, and able to print out the pages that I needed. I felt that I can relax and prepare my work course very well in advance with my stay at B&B hotel Derby on 25/9/26.”
