Quaint property

We had a lovely time here it was very clean but we didn't see any staff after checking in. The guest house is very clean the facilities were quite good and the surrounding area was beautiful excellent dark skies for the northern lights

Best Stay During Our 10-Day Iceland Trip

We were in Iceland for 10 days doing the Ring Road and I think this was my favorite place we stayed. We were only there for one night but our room was comfortable and the lodgings were awesome. Great views. There was a communal kitchen and sitting area you could use which worked out great for us. Our group made charcuterie and hot dogs but some other groups there made pasta dinners. There were no TVs which we appreciated because we just ended up talking and laughing with drinks all night. We also popped into the hot tub for a bit as well. My favorite part was the horses. We didn’t take a riding trip but we did pop into the stables to give the horses some pets and ear scritches. They were all so sweet and goofy. I loved the Icelandic horses so much I ended up getting a tattoo of a horse when we got to Reykjavik. Great stay, couldn’t recommend enough.

First breakfast, guys were more interested in phones. Food put out in plastic wrapping. Secobd breakfast. Youg lady kept eye on food, took time to put out, easier to get. Would have preferred tv in room. If stranded there for bad weather would have been boring. Liked seeing horses, hearing tgem at night was nice. Id rate this b+

Comfortable, stylish stay in the country

Beautiful grounds, comfy common spaces, and a clean and stylish room. We loved hanging in the common space with some tea. Great breakfast offering. Only thing that could have made it even better is if the hot tub was in better position to enjoy the amazing sunset on one side or green fields on the other. The fence isnt in an ideal location.

Lovely cabin. This was new to ebookers with no reviews but decided to give it a chance. Lovely area for a group of 3 of us to relax, cook dinner, have drinks and watch the northern lights. Very responsive owner who was very helpful if we needed anything. 15 mins from closest town and 1hr or so from Reykavík - had good facilities to cook - plan in advance as not much close by. Would love to stay here again :D

- Bei Ankunft standen beide Fenster offen, obwohl wir erst spät Abends und bei unter 5 Grad angereist sind. Selbst nach mehreren Stunden heizen, war es weiterhin viel zu kalt, da die beiden kleinen Elektroheizungen nicht für die Raumgröße ausreichend waren - Gemütlich eingerichtetes und großes Zimmer - Frühstück mit wenig Auswahl und eher lieblos - Personal sehr distanziert und uninteressiert
