Greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Lady at checkin (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) was a credit to the company. Exceptionally helpful. Room was ready and spotlessly clean. Parking on site, plenty of availability. Breakfast was good and hot. Easy connections to London central and O2. Will definitely book again. Highly recommend.

I hate to give bad reviews! But sorry, this is not a 4-star hotel. The room was dirty, and they didn't clean it until you went and told them the towels were stained, which I didn’t do. I just got out of the shower and grabbed a towel, but it was stained. The room was dirty. The carpet had a dirt stain, and the situation was horrible. If you really have to be in that area, yeah, that’s a great hotel for a few nights, like one, max two. There is no safe, no closet, and no mini bar, so I don’t understand. How is it a four-star hotel?

The room was clean and comfortable. However I was given a room for disabled people and the shower conditions were not adequate. Also I was charged 15 pounds to check out at noon, which is ridiculous. I was also charged 10 pounds a day for parking, which was not the case when I stayed there last year. A lot of nickel and diming to get more money out of us and I don't think I will be staying here again. Thank you.

Stay hear few times for work few miles from Watford lots of park down side you have to pay parking nice beds .The only issue is you must pay for the pool .I think you pay for the room so should be aloud to uses the facilities for free .

Our room card didn’t work, we had to be let in by a staff member on all 3 occasions and had to wait 20mins for someone to turn up. We understood once but throughout entire stay wasn’t good. We then missed breakfast and when went down at 10.28 were told it was closed. Yet we still paid. Our room on my had one glass! Our shower head was faulty. We tried to mention on checkout and the staff member just said to write in. Not the usual standard from Village hotels

Fantastic hotel, excellent public transport connections. Family room was perfect for a single night stay. Both dinner and breakfast in the bar were excellent. Staff were all cheerful and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel. Staff were really helpful. Food in bar was great. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Only negative point was hairdryer in room kept cutting out but just used one in the pool changing room. Would definitely reccommend to others & stay again myself.

The bed was stained. I called to reception twice no one came to change the sheets. There was stains on the carpet the room was dirty. I ordered food from room service just one portion of chips and it took 1 hour 10 mins for them to arrive! Terrible service

The room was very dusty, no microwave or mini fridges no rubber bath mat inside the bath. The amenities eg swimming pool and gym was fantastic. The restaurant bar was great as well as the breakfast. Front office staff was very helpful .

Like staying at a Wetherspoons pub - blaring music, chewing gum on the wall, people walking round with pints of lager in their hand. Some areas of the room weren't clean. A loose plug socket wire caused an electric shock which required a hospital visit. The staff came to the rescue - Duty Manager Vince(?) was wonderful. Changed my room immediately. Lovely Ryan filled accident report and basically looked after me till my husband turned up. The staff were the shining jewel at a hotel that's basically very poor.

Hugely disappointed with the male receptionist who gave me an adjoining room on two occasions despite me specifically not asking for one. Second time he gave me the room knowingly without advising me that it was still adjoining and when questioned the next day, told me that was the last of the rooms. When I asked him why he didn’t tell me that at the point of giving me the key so I could have gone elsewhere to stay, he was unapologetic and just didn’t respect the fact he’d lied to me and that I’d not slept all night. This was due to a previous scary experience at an alternative hotel and the fact I could hear the guy next door snoring and making awful noises all night. I barely slept and had to wedge a chair against the door handle out of paranoia. Tbh I should have received a full refund for purposely being misled and an apology.
