Not worth it. Nice enough for an average hotel. No comparison with 3 or 4 star hotels. Not well li; no special things given the price. Also Uber drivers have great difficulty finding the place.

Wonderful boutique hotel!

Charming converted hotel. Great service. Breakfast is served in your suite which is really convenient and adds a touch of luxury to the service. Its a boutique hotel so possesses a charm not found in chain hotels.

The manager Alex was amazingly helpful making reservations for us at excellent restaurants and Pauline at reception was extremely friendly and assisting us in other areas of our travel, even picking fine wines for us from their extensive cellar.

Stop looking and book hotel cardinal.

It is an oasis of calm and beauty. We had an incredible stay and will return for sure. Staff met our every request, no matter how hard, and help us wrangle a literal carload of baggage. Breakfast (in the room!) was divine, too,

Excellent!

The room was great and the help at the front desk was absolutely excellent. The room was very well appointed—even had a little kitchen—but there was a lot of dust under the bed. I say this in order to alert the hotel and help them improve. But I loved the hotel and would stay there again!

We totally enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Outside our room was a very nice patio area, which we enjoyed. Morning French breakfast was lovely. Access to the tram was just a short walk around the corner. Restaurants were in the square nearby as well as stores. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Pauline was wonderful. The suite was of generous size. If we ever come back to Bordeaux again we will definitely stay here again. Will be recommending it to our friends. For some reason the dates are incorrect. We checked out on July 14.

The property has absolutely no parking available not even to check in. Public parking is far and hard to reach specially with luggage. The hotel smelled strongly like sewer lines and if there were issues we were not informed in advance so we can book anotjer hotel . We had to sleep with all the windows open, even so the smell was very bad, and its very very noisy at nigh. The floors are very uneven, and the rooms are so small you can barely walk around. If it was listed less stars i would understand but at the price level and stars advertised its completely unacceptable.

Great Stay in the Heart of Bordeaux The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, with two nightstands and plenty of outlets to charge our devices. I loved the tall windows that let in lots of natural light, and the closet was roomy and even had its own light. The room also had a small table with two chairs — perfect for meals or working. The kitchenette was convenient, equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a few pots for light cooking. The bathroom was small but well-designed, with a heated towel rack and a shower that offered plenty of space and excellent water pressure. The location was perfect — just steps away from the Cathedral of Saint Catherine and close to many shops and restaurants. We felt safe walking around, even at night, and it was easy to take the bus back to the train station. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English, which made check-in and recommendations very easy. Overall, a great experience and a wonderful place to stay in Bordeaux!
