Sรคmsta personalen jag nรฅgonsin stรถtt pรฅ! Fick ett rum med trasig dรถrr, sรฅ gick inte att lรฅsa. Nรคr vi sa till sรฅ skulle dem fixa problemet, nรคr vi kom tillbaka frรฅn stranden 5 timmar senare hade dem inte gjort nรฅgonting. Vi hade en nedmonterad tv, inga handukar och inget toalettpapper. Vi bad om att fรฅ byta rum direkt, vilket vi fick. Dagen efter sรฅ stรคdade dom rummet men fyllde inte pรฅ med handukar eller toalettpapper, jag fick springa 3 gรฅnger till reception fรถr att fรฅ grejerna. Inte bara att jag fick springa 3 vรฅningar tre gรฅnger, utan dem var fruktansvรคrt otrevliga nรคr jag frรฅgade om hjรคlpen. Skulle aldrig sรคtta min fot hรคr igen!

Great location & staff, rooms were OK.

Staff were lovey & location was amazing. Room needed some improvement - 3/5 lights were broken. Only had one tiny window. Photos of what look to be a common chill out zone are actually of the spa which they bring people from the beach to, you only have your room to relax in.

Not so good first day in Taj

Initially, I was put in a room where airconditioned is worst because it is very noisy that I wasn't able to sleep at all. I reported and waited until noon the following day before they decided to transfer me to a different room. After that incident, everything is ok.

Keep your expectations low

I could not fathom whether I would be delighted that the hotel was a very quick walk to the beach front and that it was so close to other establishments (which made it very convenient) or if I would be disappointed because it was difficult to get your room cleaned. They did not clean rooms everyday even when we already requested for it. It took a couple more reminders before they even did sweep the floor. We were expecting them to make the beds but they also did not do so (or maybe they didn't want to touch our stuff). The sockets were limited and since we were a group of four, two sockets are not enough. We asked for an extension cord and they left us with a broken promise.To keep expectations clear, it is typically a room don't expect customer service, you'd have to ask for toilet paper every time you run out because they will not refill them. You'd have to ask them thrice to get them to collect the trash, you'd have to ask for bathroom rugs and new towels again and again because they won't give it to you unless you asked. One of the reception people weren't as friendly, we asked if we could check in earlier, and she answered in a very unconvincing tone...we arrived 2 hours earlier than check in and asked if we could at least take a shower because it was too hot and the travel to the hotel was very dusty and exhausting...she seemed annoyed while answering our questions. There were no complimentary water bottles, or no water dispenser to say the least.

CHINESE NEW YEAR GUESTS

I arrived at the hotel for a late night check in. There were hotel staff who accommodated us during the evening check in. The room was small but clean enough and looks decent for the price I paid. The location was good. They are not exactly in the beach front area for you to have a view but the location was close to D'mall and a restaurant good for cheap eats. Overall the location was good if you are not too picky where to stay. During the entire 3 nights I stayed at Taj, no hotel staff cleaned our room for a daily room service. The courtesy of asking the guest if we need one would be enough but there was none at all. The sand was all over the room already, so I personally got the broom and cleaned the floor. Overall, the stay was just good enough. I would still recommend the place for budget travelers. The place is not as high end but the good thing is you get what you pay for. Better than other budget hotels nearby for sure.

Boracay holiday

Room didint dry at all. There is ac but it dosent keep room dry If weather is rainy. Location and staff is nice and everything is very near. Hotel massage spa was very good also! Room is small but that dosent bother us.

Our double bed was small

The hotel staff were amazing and very kind. Please note that this review is no reflection of them but the hotel booking in general. However, we were given a room in the annex (another building) which was some streets behind the beachfront hotel. We had a heavy suitcase and we had to drag it down alleys which were not paved properly to the annex and then up some stairs as there was no elevator. The hotel room was very well designed and clean however it was small. As was the so-called "double" bed. It was much smaller than a double bed in the UK and not comfortable for 2 people. We complained about its size but were informed it's a double. A twin room would have been better.

The hotel was ok close to the beach

The hotel is basic only room no real facilities but what do you really need in Boracay itโ€™s literally a few steps and your on the beach close to all the night life. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful the room itself was clean plenty of space and comfortable nice bathroom. Over all I would definitely stay here again WiFi not great especially in the annexe where I stayed
