I have traveled to many countries around the world and usually choose accommodations carefully based on research and reviews. Unfortunately, this property was very misleading. The hotel itself is extremely dated and rustic, and overall cleanliness was a major issue during my stay.
I stayed at the property for nine days, but due to the poor conditions, I only drank coffee or cider in the mornings and spent most of my days at nearby hotels that were noticeably cleaner. I’m giving this property three stars solely because the staff was very kind and genuinely tried their best to accommodate me.
The room was outdated, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned on multiple occasions—at least three times—despite leaving notes, tipping daily, and raising concerns with the manager. There were days when the sink wasn’t wiped down, toothpaste stains were left behind, and the bath mat had visible mold stains. I asked several times for the mat to be replaced; it was only after repeated complaints that it was finally washed or replaced. I was surprised that a mold-stained bath mat was considered acceptable for guests.
The complimentary breakfast was very limited. I only ate it once after seeing roaches crawling on the eggs and other food items. After that, I only had coffee in the mornings and chose to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner elsewhere, as the restaurant did not appear clean.
