The continental breakfast was excellent. The pool and surrounding area was clean. A nice little park next-door was a little ice cream shack which we could walk to at night. There was also a little farmers market next-door to the ice cream shack which was nice to bring homemade goodies from Maine for Family and Friends

I stayed for two nights. The room was clean and the staff were all very nice. Parking was good, right in front of my room. They had a buffet style free breakfast which was also very good. I would recommend staying here.

Very friendly staff, very nice room. Shower water stayed hot and had good pressure. They have a pool and hot tub, I didn't use them. Wifi is good. The free breakfast is awesome, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, bagels, cereal, toast, juice and coffee. There is also a ice cream shop next door. Large place to sit down to eat breakfast.

Very friendly. However, very small rooms for 2 adults. Cramped. Would be fine for one adult, it would be fine. Beds were ok- not enough outlets for plugging in electronics and bedroom area very dark. No comfortable chair; very nice and clean new fridge and microwave.

Good prices. Quaint area. Great pool and hot tub. Decent rooms. Some paint peeling in our room by the windowsill but no big deal. Lost a star because the continental breakfast, while nicely laid out and looking clean, ended up being inedible by several members of my party.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and quiet. I took a swim in the pool, and also had a dip in the hot tub. The buffet breakfast was decent, but nothing fancy. There's a free shuttle that stops in front of the inn that will take you to the downtown area, but it's a short walk if you miss the shuttle. I would stay here again!

We stayed in 2 rooms. One was in very good condition, the other was slightly run down. Both were clean. The staff members were helpful and polite. Breakfast was more than we expected. Amenities were great - both in terms of appliances and toiletries.

Location was excellent, everyone nice, breakfast options were great and included, only real issue was there were so many fruit flies in the room and were coming out of the bathroom sink. Housekeeping did come and bleached the sink, but they still continued to come out of drain and holes in the sink. Really gross and annoying. Stayed 2 nights. Definitely would return if it wasn't for the fruit flies.

The room was decent. This is definitely an older hotel, but our stay was perfectly fine. The price was was excellent compared to the other hotels a bit closer to the harbor. The pool looked very nice, we just didn't have a chance to use it. The free breakfast was really good.

The grounds were meticulously maintained. The rooms recently updated and very clean. The front desk personnel very helpful with any questions or problems. The location perfect. We appreciated the healthy breakfast and thought the whole package of our stay was modestly priced! I will return again.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and always had a great experience — the location alone keeps me coming back. That’s what made this visit so disappointing. The floor in our room was visibly dirty. My daughter walked barefoot and her feet were black. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. Boothbay has limited affordable options, and this place has real potential. But cleanliness isn’t a luxury — it’s a baseline. I hope management takes this seriously, because I’d genuinely like to return.
