The parking was more crowded then normally because of the restaurant but other than that it was a very good stay and very clean room. I can say that if you don't want to hassle with parking in the front then you should definitely get a room with a balcony.

What a cool place! The decor is awesome, very on theme. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Dog friendly!!! And the view from our room?! *Chefs kiss* we drank our free coffee on the balcony in the morning watching the sunrise over the mountains. Don't sleep on the restaurant in the lobby -fantastic!! 10/10 would recommend.

Old school hotel that has a great interior renovation, grew up staying in hotel like this so it’s nostalgic. If staying in back the lobby and food is a little walk but a good clean place to sleep.

The only reason this property is not getting 5 stars from me is because the restaurant/bar was closed during the entirety of my trip. Not your typical motor lodge. The owners completely revamped this place into a very cool place to stay and hang out. There is a nice covered firepit and even a good restaurant on the property.

This property is both "retro" and modern, with lots of nice touches. The Over Yonder restaurant is located in the lobby, and it has very good upscale Southern fare. The only thing to note about this place is they don't have breakfast for free or for purchase, with the exception that the Over Yonder restaurant has brunch from 10 am to noon on Saturday and Sunday. There are fridges in the room, and a microwave in the lounge. This is a great base to explore the area, and has a lot of character. It's a lot more fun than a Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn type place (if you don't need a pool and gym and free breakfast).
