The front desk person was very kind. However, this is the wrist room I’ve ever stayed in and I am not picky. The whole room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, despite being “non-smoking”. I can deal with things I’m being run down but this place was falling apart. The lampshades were all burned up, the chair was missing its fabric and everything was worn out. I never could find the TV remote. Bed was comfortable, thank goodness.

Was very out dated, carpet ,room had a terrible odor/smell in it! I asked for a refund and of course I made reservations so I had t forfeit a night stay?? It was a very busy weekend, I didn’t think I would find us a place? The place I found cost double amount, much smaller room, one bed, but very clean! I will definitely b looking into places a little bit better .

Poor sound insulation from outside noise. Outdated bathroom had tiny toilet better suited for children than the adult male anatomy. But the room did have a good bed and good chairs that were comfortable and functional.

This is a good clean motel, well lite parking, complimentary breakfast great price. And a convenient dollar general store next door....I forgot my toothbrush..

Not a good property. Rooms are “non :smoking”, but still smell of smoke from the past. Check-in was fine. Had no towels in my room. Their “breakfast” is almost nothing. Didn’t even have coffee cups. Front desk worker was asleep in the morning. Noisy, can hear traffic outside. Hot water was good. Air conditioner/heater worked well, and was pretty silent.

The service and hotel were surprisingly good for the price. The bed was comfy. It is an older hotel but very well maintained. I would stay again. WARNING: Don't go to the Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell. Jip city😁

It's a pretty area and convenient location. However, the room we were in needs a deep cleaning and/or renovation(especially the bathroom). There was a quarter roll of toilet paper with no backups in the bathroom. Dirty black caulk around the base of the toilet No cups, no liner bag for the ice bucket, TV remote didn't work, burned out or missing lightbulbs. The staff was friendly. With some simple improvements it could be a nice place to stay in the future.

Staff was never around at the front desk. Breakfast is supposed to open at 0630-0930 and at 0830 no one had set up breakfast yet and the front lobby door was locked. The rooms were clean and the A/C worked. The tub spout leaked continuously. Both of the shampoo and body soap dispensers were empty. I have stayed at worse hotels but it was inexpensive and the only ones available on the date I visited the area.

When we checked in the hotel had us staying only 2 nights and I booked 3 nights. The lady at the front desk was so kind to change it and move people around so we could have the 3rd night. It was quiet so that made it easy to rest at night. The bed was not as comfortable as the others we have slept on here for we come here and stay every June for the past 5 years. But the bed would not keep me from coming back. I’ve slept on a lot worse! Room was clean and had everything we needed. I love it here and don’t want to leave this morning but I must go back to work. Until we meet again!!

The good: The place was clean and the shower was great. Best water pressure of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was very small and somewhat cramped (couldn't get much in the mini-fridge), but adequate and the price was much lower than anything else around. Had very little interaction with the staff but when I did they were courteous and professional. The place is also within minutes of Mount Jefferson and the New River. Beautiful scenery and natural attractions all over that area. The bad: The lighting was terrible. I literally couldn't hardly see to shave. It was pretty noisy at times with some fighting and carrying on by some of the other patrons.

Great location, felt safe, employees were nice. The shower was nasty, the floors were nasty. AC had mold inside the vent. The bathroom sink faucet sprayed water out from around the handle. Ice machine and snack machines were broke. Walls in the room and curtains were nasty and the bed linens all had cigarette burns in them.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable but I must say that there was a lot of noise outside with others staying here as in a loud car that would come and leave and come and leave etc. and there was 2 different rooms that just kept slamming the doors late at night. I have stayed here for 4 years and never had any problems until now. I don’t know if they live here and that they just don’t stay in like most do at night. But I will say this not getting much sleep is very disappointing for this hotel. I will not stay in room 122 again!!

Hotel is really showing its age. Linens and towels were thin and sheet had burn marks on them. Beds only come in Double or King would prefer Queens over double mattress. Bathroom was dark and exhaust fan did not work. Cleanliness was subpar and I was concerned about walking bare foot in the bathroom. Several of the lights had to be wiggles to turn on and several outlets were not accessible. Walls are thin and could hear other rooms conversations. Hotel is within walking distance of fast food and grocery store. Reason for stay was a hunting trip with Brother, would not stay here with my family.
