The stay was comfortable, the front desk services are good, friendly and warm. Housekeeping is good and allow an hour late check out.

I stayed 3 nights and the room was never cleaned during the day. There is no coffee or tea available in the room. Not enough pillows. Somewhat noisy, but recognize it's next to a train platform. There are limited stations on the TV, and no streaming service.

After a long trip I arrived at the hotel and my booking I did throught Expedia was not found, it is the only point I may concern on my stay, all the rest was fine.

The hotel is the other side of the railway from the town centre so has to be reached by tunnel under the station - the nearest one is ok but the next one was not nice and there were people begging outside the supermarket next to the hotel. The hotel, however is fine - my room was large enough with fridge and good wardrobe and although my room looked down on the railway platforms I didn't hear anything when the window was closed. I would use it again.

Flight was delayed due to storms and therefore we arrived at the hotel later than planned, only to find out they had given our rooms away and so we had nowhere to stay that night. Unacceptable without any communication!

Frühstück kann ich leider nicht beurteilen, da ich keine Zeit hatte dies zu nutzen. Was ich toll fand dass ich im Zimmer einen kleinen Kühlschrank hatte und einen Wasserkocher und Tee usw auf dem Zimmer.

Insgesamt hat uns es wieder sehr gut gefallen. Allerdings wäre es toll, wenn bei der Zimmerreinigung nach drei Nächten nicht nur die Handtücher ausgetauscht und Betten gemacht werden, sondern auch mal das Zimmer und das Bad gesaugt/gewischt werden.

Die Lage des IntercityHotels Bonn ist grundsätzlich gut, allerdings etwas tricky zu erreichen. Die Tiefgarage ist praktisch, aber mit 20 € pro Nacht aus unserer Sicht recht teuer. Als wir bei der Anreise vor der Schranke standen, wurden wir zunächst etwas unfreundlich empfangen – es wurde hinterfragt, wer wir überhaupt seien und was wir wollen, obwohl die Zufahrt klar als Hotelzufahrt gekennzeichnet ist und wir direkt dort standen. Begründet wurde das mit Problemen durch externe Parker, dennoch hätte man das freundlicher lösen können. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, funktional eingerichtet, das Bett bequem und das Bad völlig ausreichend. Leider ließ sich das Fenster nicht öffnen, was an der Rezeption zunächst nicht ernst genommen wurde – man schlug uns sogar vor, „mit Schmackes“ daran zu ziehen. Erst nach mehreren Versuchen und Besuchen von Servicekräften sowie dem Rezeptionisten wurde bestätigt, dass das Fenster tatsächlich defekt war. Da wir nur zwei Nächte geblieben sind, war das für uns in Ordnung, aber ein wenig ärgerlich war es trotzdem. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, da es in der Umgebung genug Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Auch die Innenstadt ist gut erreichbar – ein klarer Pluspunkt. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt solide, aber mit kleinen Schwächen im Service und Komfort. Für uns reicht es daher nicht für einen weiteren Besuch – wir würden beim nächsten Mal eine andere Unterkunft wählen.

Die Unterkunft hat uns im Großen und Ganzen gefallen. Das Personal ist leider sehr zurückhaltend und spricht zum Beispiel beim Frühstück niemanden an, ein „guten Morgen“ währe aber irgendwie schon nett, nur wenn man etwas „falsch“ macht wird man direkt angemeckert (falsche Tasse unter der Kaffeemaschine), schwierig. Wenn man mit Kind (5 Jahre) anreist (man hat auch für alle gebucht) geht das Hotel davon aus dass man zu dritt im 1,40 Bett schläft, nur auf Nachfrage bekommt man ein Zustellbett.
