“Lovely location up a very narrow one track road! Room was lovely. The inside of the courtyard is done up in a lovely way and having a seating area inside and outside of the room (we were in the dairy) was lovely. Lovely little shop, nice cafe. Only downside was our shower was broken and was scorching. The owner was super quick to respond but as we were only staying one night, they couldn't fix it before we left. There was a shower block nearby for the camping area though to use.”

“Wir hatten ein individuell und liebevoll eingerichtetes großes Zimmer in dem neuen Gebäude gegenüber dem Pub und Hotel. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich, das Essen re gional typisch und sehr gut. Eine angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre. Tolle Lage im Grünen mit schönen Weg nach Thirsk. Grosse Terrasse und ausreichend Parkplätze, das Frühstück ist landestypisch und könnte aber etwas vielseitiger sein.”

“We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back. The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. ”

“Motel in easy walking distance to town centre. The room was very hot, so had our windows open and seagulls were screaming from 2am The room was clean plenty of hot water. Bed too soft for our liking so didn’t sleep well. Our door didn’t seem to fit right so had to slam it shut and heard a few more being slammed.”
