Great pool and breakfast, with awesome facilities. On the edge of Bologna so easy to get to places outside of the city and free parking. Awesome place for families and a get away.

Good hotel, disappointing dining

The hotel is in great condition, modern and comfortable amenities. The temperature of our room was way too warm for the period and in fact the whole corridor was extremely warm. To be fair to the hotel we have not asked for help with our aircon in the room but it was a central unit. The restaurant dining experience is pricey and the food was not good. Meals seemed thawed and not well seasoned. The price was definitely out of line for the quality. Very good breakfast though, must be said.

We had 2 rooms 4 people. The air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms. Someone came the first night to look and said he would come back he did not. We went to buy a fan ourselves. Next afternoon after repeatedly trying to get them to fix the AC they finally did. We also had a toilet that was rocking of the wall. Staff at the front were amazing and very friendly.

Nice hotel but definitely not 4*. - Room is beaten up and needs to be refreshed: carpet is stained and bedding is very thin. Not very comfortable. AC was not functioning so the room was unbearably hot (although it wasn't even that hot outside) Bare minimum of toiletries (hand soap and shower gel/shampoo only) Restaurant : - Breakfast has a large selection although everything is quite bland We did have dinner there the last night by lack of other choices in the area and were absolutely surprised by the quality of dinner. Very different than breakfast. Portions were unexpectedly big and everything was very tasty and fresh. (Pork belly was delicious) Staff is mostly very friendly Easy to park Pool looked nice but we didn't try it Convenient drive to the airport and not too far from city center, but you need to have a car to move around - we didn't use the fitness center but it was tiny

The hotel was OK. The food for dinner was so and so. I hate it when restaurants charge you for stuff you didn't order or want or ate. It's not that I'm cheap, it a principe thing. It's wrong. There was some bread on the table when we arrived to eat that we noticed it was already on the tables when we were in the pool. We noticed flies around so we made a note not to touch the bread (which was probably dry also). When we got to the table later on, the same bread was there so we said thanks but no thanks. Then the waiter comes with some meatball like stuff to the table that we didn't order or want or ate. At the end we had to pay 18 euro for the bread and 6 for the ball thingies. It's not a huge amount of money but it's wrong to "scam" your customers into paying for stuff they didn't order. This never happened to us in other countries (nor back home in Sweden). We will not to be back.

Quelque peu déçu du Sidney hôtel à Bologne qui affiche 4 étoiles. La literie pour les canapés lits était moyenne, les coussins (un seul par personne) sont peu confortables. Dommage car la chambre était propre et fonctionnelle. Éviter le restaurant opéra de l'hôtel où le service pour chaque couvert est de 4 euros par personne. Soit le double des tarifs pratiqués par les restaurants en ITALIE.

It was a big surprise, in a positive way. The room, the sunny outdoor pool with umbrellas and the bar with outdoor sitting is excellent. The pool closes at 19:30, and the restaurant opens at 19:30. We had a very tasty dinner at the restaurant, I recommend it. It was our last stop in Italy before flying off from Bologna airport. I definitely recommend this hotel, it was much better than expected. It is in a location where you need a car and parking is free, public transportation is difficult.

Great hotel that is well connected to Bologna Fiere but very difficult to move to city center. If Bologna Fiere entrance north is open, you can walk about 15 mins to get there. If not, you should take a cab which doesn't make any sense.

Ottima posizione per chi vuole raggiungere a piedi la Fiera purché ci si accerti prima che l'ingresso Fiera vicino l'albergo sia aperto. La colazione è molto buona e varia. Rispetto al ns soggiorno due cose migliorabili sono la pulizia generale (bagno in primis), la fornitura di biancheria da bagno (asciugamani) e prodotti per l'igiene (saponi, bagno schiuma) entrambi insufficienti per il numero degli occupanti (4 nel nostro caso). Infine una nota agrodolce per il servizio serale del bar: ho chiesto come cocktail un white russian ma l'addetto non sapeva cosa fosse. L'addetto si è però parzialmente riscattato preparando un ottimo spritz.
