The staff was not really friendly in general but the room was nice and the bed comfortable. I wouldn’t say this is a 4 star hotel, but it is a solid 3 star. Breakfast was good. Hotel is also very well located which was our main priority when choosing a hotel in Bologna.

Hotel Roma is the perfect hotel to stay at, especially if only in Bologna for a short stay of a few days. The convenient location cannot be beat - it's right in the center of all the main attractions making for an easy stay. The free breakfast every day was very much appreciated and there was a good variety of options. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. We felt very safe staying in this location in Bologna. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel - it's the best!
