Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Elizabeth Lifestyle Hotel in Bologna, Italy. The hotel staff was amazing, the room was very clean and well-stocked, (with comfortable beds) and the breakfast they served was delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to ensure we knew which public transport to take, how to purchase tickets, different tickets etc. Room was lovely, air-conditioned, clean, bed was very comfortable, bedding was clean and they seemed to think of everything that you might need. Definitely would stay again.

It’s about a 30 minute walk to the main square and 12 minutes to the train station. The area was a bit lower end but still felt safe. There is a grocery store nearby (Aldi) if you want to make a sandwich one night. The hotel was wonderful!!!! It was easy to find, clean, spacious, etc. our room was outstanding! We were not expecting two rooms let alone, two bathrooms. My kids loved the jet bath tub and showers. Very modern inside. They are definitely not travelling in this style for the remainder of our trip to Europe.

Due to problems with the German train system, we had to stop in Bologna for the night. We arrived at 1:50 am. The man who came to the door was so polite and considerate. The lobby was spotless, check-in was simple, the room was smartly designed, plenty of towels and amenities in the bathroom, and the shower was fabulous. Breakfast the next morning was good, would have been great if the coffee had been hot. The called us a taxi to take us to the train station—there in 10 minutes. They were just some of the nicest people after one of our worst travel days ever.

Bologna is not a car-friendly city, so this place was one of the very few that allowed us to reserve a secure parking place for our 2 night stay. This gave us A LOT OF PEACE OF MIND while we ventured around town. We also appreciated that the buffet breakfast has plenty of protein-rich options (not just the croissant & capuchino that is typical). The restaurant recommendations by the staff were great, BUT they are tiny places with italian hours (closed between 3 and 7 pm), so DON'T forget to make reservations ahead of time.

This hotel is located farther from the center of Bologna, so be prepared for long waits for taxis and Ubers, as transportation in the area is both limited and expensive. The property itself is modern and comfortable, with spacious rooms and large bathrooms, a definite plus for Italy. The staff was friendly and helpful; however, they did not follow up on the Wi‑Fi issues I reported while staying on the 5th floor. I needed reliable internet for work, and although they said they would look into it, the problem was never addressed. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, offering Italian pastries, eggs, cold cuts, and specialty coffees. Having breakfast on-site was convenient since there are few options nearby. Overall, the experience was positive for the price, but the location and unresolved Wi‑Fi issue are worth noting.
