Great staff, pretty hotel but needs improvements

This hotel was nice overall. The staff is amazingly friendly, accommodating and helpful, and the hotel is very pretty. I loved the style. It has a lot of character. We got a room with two floors that looks like an apartment. That was really great and the decor was really tasteful. The bathroom was small but it worked great, in the sense that we always got hot water with perfect pressure whenever we needed. We got two double beds together meant to be a king size bed. The bed was quite hard and we could feel the crack in between beds. This would be easily fixed by using a mattress topper. It is an old house and it can be cold, though. Also, it's not really insulated, so you get to hear everyone in the hotel, which can be disturbing. Luckily, the rooms are provided with heating, which is a huge plus, as Bogotá can get really cold. Breakfast is quite poor in quality and the internet didn't really work in the rooms. That was a huge inconvenience, although they did their best to try to fix it. Overall it was a good experience, including the pick up service from the airport. The staff was great and we are grateful for that.

The staff was great. The hotel is beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe, but within walking distance to many tourist attractions. The rooms were evry nice, but the bed was extremely hard (hard beds seemed to be common in Colombia), but this one was exceptional. Screens in the windows and a fan would be nice, as there were a few mosquitoes in our room that kept biting throghout the night. Despite a few changes that would be nice to have, I recommend this hotel. It was perfect in many ways.

Super service-oriented staff who couldn't do enough to make guests feel special. Rooms were artistically appointed with a nice flair. Breakfast was delicious and ample. I'd definitely stay there again.

Muy sobre estimado, hay mejores opciones en Bogotá

Las habitaciones son muy originales, temáticas y muy agradables. Sin embargo el descanso, tanto en la habitación cinema, como en la suite, no son muy buenos. Se escucha mucho el ruido de la calle cercana (mucho más en la cinema, ahí con todo y que era festivo me fue imposible dormir desde las 6 AM). Muy mala experiencia con el desayuno. La cocinera "se fue" a las 9 AM y ya no había quien nos diera algo más que fruta y jugo. Además es poco lo que se sirve. Empleados con actitud pero sin capacitación "es que son nuevos", pésimo para un hotel que está tan bien calificado y del que se espera mucho. En resumen, hay mejores opciones en Bogotá.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this hotel which had a romantic atmosphere. The breakfast was included and the restaurant in this charming boutique hotel was wonderful.

Just what I needed on short notice

Was grateful for such a friendly and caring staff. I arrived late expecting who knows what, and was genuinely surprised by a really well prepared room, good wifi, and most of all friendly people in the later hours of the evening. Definitely staying there next time I'm in Bogota

Great people, great location (new boheme of Bogota), excellent restaurant, beautiful vintage rooms, beautiful hotel outside, inside, and close to all importants visits in Bogota, by foot! The prices are very good also. Thank you guys so much, you are the best! I did not want to come back, and they made the best impression of Bogota on me.
