We had a delightful stay at this property. Its prime location right by the water is enhanced by beautifully maintained grounds. The exceptional cleanliness and brand-new mattresses added greatly to our comfort. There are several dogs on the property, all remarkably well-behaved. It took two days for the dogs to warm up to me as I tried to pet them, so concerns raised in previous reviews about a dog on a chain seem unfounded. Shakira and her family showed incredible hospitality, making our visit even more enjoyable.

We had a fabulous stay at Wilton House. Safe, clean, very friendly and helpful hosts; three minutes walk from a great beach. If you go be sure to try LunaSea restaurant (3 mins drive) - great sunset views and fab food!

Property was well kept, staff polite and studio we stayed was updated and clean, very spacious, water pressure in shower was kinda low, entrance is kind of hidden and not much space to enter from the road to the gate, overall I would stay here again

1. The pictures look nothing like the current condition of the property. 2. There were dogs constantly barking at times even in the middle of the night. We’re dog people so I gave it the benefit of the doubt until a very large, chained up dog lunged toward one of my girls when we were getting out of the vehicle. 3. The last night we were there, we were awoken at 4am to the noise of construction/maintenance that continued for awhile. 4. Our room had a strong sewage smell that was absolutely terrible. I don’t usually write reviews good or bad, but with this experience it is my due diligence that no one else have to experience the same atrocities that we did. Don’t make the same mistake we did!

The property has the most beautiful garden setting, which overlooks the beautiful Bluefield beach . The proprietor of the Wilton House are helpful and friendly, its easy to travel to and from if you know the areas . I plan to return there in the near future.
