overall good experience, nice staff, decent food. Waitresses in casino weren't that friendly, we waited for over 30 minutes for her to come back to get our check. but overall it was a good hotel and room

Yeah, so don't go looking for the Lake. Because there isn't one. It got that name because it used to flood in that area centuries ago. Arcata is a 10 minute drive and theviews of the mountain are very pretty.

in addition to the hyper rude and abusive employee there were about 5 employees that didn't return my smile or a greeting something is going on at this place
