This hotel is in a great location very close to the main street in Blowing Rock where the shops and park is. Also short walk to many great restaurants. Really enjoyed my stay at immaculate facility.

This is a lovely new hotel in Blowing Rock with a great location, beautiful furnishings and decor and nice amenities. The only downsides: the high closet rod with attached hangers were hard to use, and the loud exterior door next to our room that closed very loudly. Other than that it was quite nice.

Parking was great. Location very close to heart of town. Only issue was the mini fridge made a lot of noise while sleeping so we had to unplug. Super clean and new. Bed was very comfy.

Room is spacious. Layout is kind of goofy. They provide soft comfortable couch that looks at a locked door and sink. Not sure if TV pulls far enough off the wall to turn toward the couch but I didn’t want to test it. No check in desk BUT through messaging they are super fast at responding 100% would stay there again Very convenient to everything 4.99 stars. I wish I could have sat on the couch to watch TV.

Wonderful hotel that is walkable to everything in downtown Blowing Rock. Property is new and very clean. Plenty of parking on site. They even offer earplugs (we didn't need them), eye shades, a steamer, and phone charging plugs built into the lamps. The hotel is unstaffed, so make sure you get your entry code before you get there (we couldn't get a cell signal in the parking lot so had to borrow wifi from a local store). We had a couple of reasons to contact the staff, and they were very friendly and responsive. We will stay here again.

The hotel is modern and very clean. Within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the amenities were good. There was a small but nice balcony to sit on in the evening. The only negative was the clicking and banging and humming coming from the small refrigerator by the bed. It was not constant but did wake us up in the night. I would stay here again.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice place to stay in the heart of Blowing Rock. Ben was amazing and helped us out with some things we forgot to bring from home. He was super responsive and helpful. Look forward to staying at the Windmoor again.

The room smelled strongly of some type heavy cleaner/chemical! Hated that! Very small with practically no amenities! No coffee - only espresso. Good location to Blowing Rock downtown. Will not stay again!

Such a nice, new place. The owner/manager Been was so accommodating and helpful. Right at the downtown so easy to walk places. Enjoyed our short stay. My 1 complaint was the hard bed. Others will like that but with my bad joints, it was not the most comfortable. Overall great, tho.

Spotless. Very clean. King bed was comfortable. Need place to hang coats etc. Im 5 feet 11 inches and almost impossible to reach hangers on rack. You couldnt remove hangers fron rod. Wife is alot shorter with no chance to hang up clothes. Thats the only complaint .

I have to say I was hesitant to book a hotel without a front desk and only an e-check in. I’m happy to say the experience here was excellent. I was provided with number to a gentleman that was able to assist in all our needs. He was able to check us in much earlier than our set time, and an extra hour later for check out. Location is in the midst of restaurants and shopping. Very walkable to Main Street. Very clean, modern room!l with a fireplace Has the basic amenities. Coffee was unique (tea-bag style) and had to steep. Surprisingly delicious, convenient, and saved a mess for clean up. Steamer available for wrinkly clothes. Hangers are attached to a rod, and a little elevated in a cubby. I had to use a chair to reach it. My husband had to stretch also. I’m 5’2” and he’s 6’ for reference. So with mobility issues maybe they have another room for an option? Shower was huge and separate door for the toilet. So so clean! Very happy with our stay here and the nicest text exchange with staff to help accommodate us.
