Right in the heart of Blowing Rock. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The room was exceptionally clean and the balcony had swivel rockers on it. Excellent.

We stayed at the Embers for just one night, but it was a difficult night because of a personal problem that came up just before our check-in. The staff was absolutely the best and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. It's a lovely hotel, with fantastic people on staff. We'll stop back again sometime soon. Goodness! We have been traveling to a different hotel the entire week on vacation. This was, by far, the nicest hotel room we've stayed in, and in such a beautiful little town!! We can't wait to return! The balcony was a bonus to end the day on.....the restaurant and sweet little "treats" when we arrived were perfect. The staff was incredibly accommodating and wonderful. Thank you for such a wonderful respite visit we experienced!

The place was very modern and nice. They let us check in 2 hours early which was much appreciated. We liked having the robes. Not sure what the extra $22 charge was for. There was easy parking and it is located right in the heart of downtown. Given the high price, the breakfast seemed a little meager. The trash can was overflowing at breakfast.

The hotel is modern and well situated near the downtown quaint part of blowing rock. The room is large and well equipped. It has an excellent bathroom (set up, lighting, modernized shower enclosure, etc.). the restaurant downstairs is pretty decent and not overpriced. We noticed that the nightstands on the closet side are a little small but that's not a big problem. The included breakfast is adequate, but not amazing. Ideally, we like our hotels to have a fitness center, but in this location, you just get all your working out, walking around in town and on the local trails. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!
