A good feature was that our vehicles were able to be parked close to the room. The room was clean, well maintained and perfectly satisfactory. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was served without undue delay and was adequate and nourishing. Local Alton beer, which was available at the bar went down a treat. After a sound sleep, and shower we had...

“Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it.”

“Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay”

“Absolutely perfect stay as a solo traveler. The hosts were considerate and thoughtful and the room was spotless. Also a very nice English breakfast in the morning with plenty of options.”

“Food was well cooked would recommend the Mixed Grill to anyone. Breakfast was first class. Bedroom was more than adequate TV easy to use as was the shower in so many hotels showers are so difficult to work out. The reception staff were really friendly and efficient”
