This is an older property that needs maintenance. Maid service available upon request. There is a very nice restaurant (Scramblers) attached to it that we enjoyed for breakfast.

A compelling entrance and common area makes for a more memorable stay than the typical sterile hotel environments. Parking was free and convenient, the room was clean, the shower was excellent, and the staff were friendly and efficient. This was a return stay because I enjoyed it so much a few months earlier. I will stay here again, too!

The room was mostly clean, old coffee straw under the bathroom sink. Water pressure was very low in the shower. Beds were a bit soft for my back, but the AC was nice and cold. Went to the pool but there were no clean towels available. Fitness room was good. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The room was VERY nice and clean. The front entry sidewalk needs cleaning and paint. The lobby front-door area, lobby carpet, elevators, elevator doors all need touch ups as they provide the first impression. While the general impression is nice…the front entrance’s lack of detailed cleaning just doesnt do this property justice. As I said, the room was great. The staff were great. The breakfast was good. I did not use or see the pool area.

This is a cute hotel with lots of charm! The front desk staff is very helpful. I had an issue with my room on the lobby floor (225), being HORRIBLY insulated. I could hear everything in the adjoining room, after guests checked in. They moved me to 331 which was a huge difference, and even though there were people on the floor I couldn’t hear anything in that room. I recommend a 3rd floor room as they are the ones that are renovated.

This is an excellent property to stay at! I believe I have stayed at this property six times since June because my daughter just enrolled in college at ISU. It is such a wonderful hotel I keep coming back. I feel safe there because I travel alone. When you first walk in the door, it smells amazing. The front desk is always happy to see you. The last time I stayed, I was upgraded to a fabulous room. Had the best night sleep I have had in a very long time. Another wonderful quality the hotel has is it is so close to everything. Shops, food, I love this hotel due to the fact also it is only about 2 miles from the college. I hope you enjoy your stay there as much as I have.
