We have been visiting this hotel for over 20 years.. We love the staff and have gotten to know many of them over the years. They have always been attentive to our needs. That said the hotel was fresh and modern 20 years ago but now they are needing renovation. This is the first time we have stayed with them in over a year, our room and linens were clean, but we had no washcloths. The carpet was badly stained, and it appeared that the vacuum wasn't working well or it hadn't been vacuumed at all, not sure. The restaurant was clean and the food was good. They have posted a sing stating that renovations are underway. We will defiantly stay there again at a later date. Hoping it can go back to what it once was.

When I checked in, the first room had a loud knocking noise coming from the bathroom. I went downstairs. The girl was very nice. She gave me another room. I went all the way upstairs and walked in the room and the toilet was running, and the handle was broken on it. I think I’m on the phone and called the girl who was very nice. She brought me up new keys for another room. Until I got back about 11 PM and was chilly and turned on the heat and the whole room smelled like it was going to burn down so I had to turn the heat off. I can honestly say that I would not stay here again.

The best thing about this hotel is the lady who works the breakfast. She is super kind and the food is tasty and plentiful. But, the hotel is about to undergo renovations and it needs attention. The handle to the bathroom door was falling off. The hot water spigot didn’t turn off normally, you have to jiggle it. The ac is super noisy, they don’t have plastic laundry bags for guest in the rooms. And the staff is pretty much checked out. I’d avoid this hotel until the renovations are complete.

Our experience was made so great by “Cindy”, the customer service was phenomenal. Upon checking in to our room, we found that our TV wasn’t working and she immediately upgraded us to another room -which was a lot bigger! It was very clean and secure. Parking was not an issue and the breakfast was delicious! We’ll definitely stay here again while visiting our daughter at school👍
