We really enjoyed the scenery surrounding Blainey Goldfields Motel, the rooms were warm when we came to check in which was lovely considering the temperatures. It was also an added bonus to have the bbq ready to use and a fire pit which was exciting for the kids to sit around whileusing the bbq. Overall a brilliant stay

The renovation was neat and well done. The power points at the bed head were covered by the mattress. The person sleeping adjacent to the bathroom had to shuffle sideways into and out of bed. Bed very comfortable.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Room extremely clean. Bed very comfortable. However room very cold and had to leave the air conditioner on during the night as far too cold. Perhaps electric blankets would be a more economical option. Loved the garden.

Very shabby. Extremely noisy fridge. Walls so thin could hear neighbour snoring. Too much light through curtains, very cluttered room. All over standard dropped from previous stays. Won’t stay again.

Never saw a staff member, so can’t comment. However we asked for a second pillow as we only got one flat pillow, apparently no spares. Would have been more comfortable on the floor than on the lumpy hard mattress.

There was food left in the microwave from the previous people. Someone else’s clothes left on the chair. The cups in the fridge were dirty. The bathroom tap wasn’t screwed down. The kettle didn’t work.

The motel office was not open at anytime we were there,Keys in door for all bookings. NO RECEPTION TO MEET OR GREAT. RUN BY OWNER ON REMOTE.I MET THE CLAIMED OWNER AFTER WE GOT THERE, WHO CLAIMED THAT HE WOULD KICK THE MANAGERS ARS FOR NOT BEING .THERE RATING OF BUSINESS PRINCIBLES -10 Only 2 mugs and 2 teaspoon in room, 1 microwave.no plates no cutlery, only upside bed comfortable and shower good. no reception on way out

Cleanliness was a complete issue, with pubic hair left in the shower recess, complete with no restaurant facility you had to go to the pub.and lots of noisy trade people
