Friendly staff but booked with free breakfast. At hotel he informed me they were not doing breakfast a bit disheartened as know breakfast places open were limited in blackpool plus stressful going out so early with a toddler to find food. C0st us more than planned also.
The room was fine, beds were comfortable. The shower and toilet were tiny even for me and my two young kids. If you are a bigger setting then you would maybe struggle to use these as its a very tight squeeze in the room I was given.
It was ok the room was very cold. The windows were old and cold air coming into room. There was no breakfast which was stated we had.The room was clean ,bedding did have a bit of a mothball smell.Overall ok.
Nicely run property, gave lots of spare towels (about 4 hand towels) but no soap, luckily there was enough parking when we arrived and very helpful if you had any questions

Great location, lovely staff and breakfast. We stayed on the top floor which had an electric heater and we found it a bit cold and awkward as you had to put it in the middle of the room because there wasn’t anywhere safe to put it and we were constantly telling our toddler not to touch, she still managed to keep bumping into it. Apart from that all was good
Welcoming atmosphere. Good value for 1 night stay.

Will use again thanks Clive
Need a place to stay that is really central this is ideal, it’s not the ritz but was exactly what we needed for our short stay and the owner Clive is very helpful will be looking to use again
Ideal location between the pleasure beach and the tower and just off the seafront but only a minute walk. Good size room with an ensuite shower. The room was clean and had tea and coffee making facilities. We hadn't paid for breakfast beforehand but were able to once we arrived at £4 each which was excellent value. Cereal, toast, juice, tea/coffee and a full English. We would definitely return and would recommend to others.
Lovely welcoming hotel. Clean, tidy and comfy. Clive was very accommodating to my daughters dietary needs and nothing was too much trouble for them, breakfast was delicious with a lovely selection of cereals, fruits and cooked. Clive and Billy were very cheerful and friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area. A lovely little hotel, if we come back to Blackpool we will definately stay here. We were sad to leave. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
Broken furniture litters the corridors. Carpets are frayed at edges, cobwebs in the showers. Go elsewhere. In fact do t go to Blackpool. If you do, support the grand theatre. It’s stunning.
tuxford house was a nice place to stay the breakfast was lovely and the host clive was realy a very good host would stay there again would recommend it to other travellers

False Information
We booked a double room with ensuite. With great disappointment when we arrived we were shown a double room only and told we have to share the bathroom.
We had a nice time in Blackpool . It is a nice fun place. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again not my cup of tea . Photos outdated on the website. Place looks much worse than you can see on the pics . Clive was a helpful host . That's the only good thing i can say . Sorry guys have to be honest
Me and my boyfriend did just one night last minute. We arrived early not expecting to get in the room until 2. We got there about 11;30 and checked in straight away. Top marks to the man who runs it he was friendly and very helpful. Room was not the ritz but we had paid £38 and was well worth that. Hotel clean and in control location plus it had parking. The fella who run it could not do enough to help! Would we go back most defiantly! Well worth the money! Thank you for a lovely stay. Oh and for allowing us to park the day we should of left x
The rooms was exactly what we wanted, warm, clean and cosy. The owner was very very helpful, advising of car parking and helping out to park my car at the hotel during the day. Nothing seemed too much trouble for him. Not a massive hotel but very good value for the money. Walking distance for most things. My wife & I will be returning.
