No beating around the bush, the hotel was very clean and tidy, well maintained and in a central location. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have any meals so cant comment. We stayed for four days and would do so again with no hesitation.

Comfortable room and bed. Room showing signs of age but clean and well maintained. A portable aircon unit and separate fan were provided (the aircon had a timer facility) and these were necessary and welcome. Decent size kettle in room compared to certain chains. Slowest lift in the known universe, but once you find your way round the stairs that’s fine. Definitely a cut above other properties nearby.

Lovely spacious single room, very comfy double bed, nice large shower in the bathroom. It's a little more expensive than most local places, but peace of mind and great rooms are worth their weight in gold Only change I'd like to see would be, in the Premium rooms especially, would be a mini fridge! A god send in this hot weather, but even in the winter, a nice cold bottle of milk in the fridge is always better than the UHT variety
