The room I had 108 was just right for what I wanted. The only thing which was missing was an electric socket for my razor. Otherwise, friendly and clean. Good parking facilities and close enough to the town for me to use my mobility scooter. I will be staying again

Shops were near by. Rooms were all clean and the bar was well stocked. The manager was really accommodating and was really welcoming. Parking was excellent and the hotel was a great location. Would really recommended a stay.

The hotel was okay but a bit old fashioned basic rooms but clean the staff we saw where friendly breakfast was served by a nice young man it was very quiet when we stayed in April 2026 and you had to pay cash if you had a drink at the bar

Parking and check in easy. Staff really friendly. The room was clean and plenty of tea and coffee. Really great location, easy walk to the town centre. The bathroom had a strong damp smell and the bed was very uncomfortable (solid with massive lump in the middle), however, it looks like they are in tbe middle of improvements, so hopefully this will be rectified soon. Will definitely return.

I enjoyed my 3 nights at the Santa Maria with friendly staff and clean bright rooms, good well presented breakfast options, good quite location on the promenade with view's over the bay just 15 mins walk from Tower area - local bus and trams just outside, some parking on site as 3 day car park fee just next to Hotel would have been £25, I expect to return later in yr

We got a spot outside the hotel which was free. But i guess these are limited just the luck of the draw. The man on reception was very friendly .the bed was so comfy we had a sea view room which had been refurbished. Spotlessly clean in our room. Complementry choc bars and water in the room. The rest of the hotel is undergoing a makeover smelt a little of paint but not in the room. All in all i would stay again without hesitation. Ty santa marie for a pleasant stay.

Hotel is nice and friendly. Easy check in but the interior of rooms is now very dated with old furnishings. Nice base if you don’t spend much time in the hotel though.

Bear in mind that this is a budget hotel, so don't expect 5 star stay. I wanted a clean comfortable bed (tick), on-suite shower and toilet (tick), a sea view (tick), free parking (tick), close to the venue I was working at (tick), breakfast wasn't required but I got it anyway (tick), friendly staff wasn't essential, but I got that anyway too (tick). One disappointment was the quality of the wifi - you can connect, but apart from sending emails and WhatsApps, that seemed to be the limit (fail). I am sure other people will find other things to complain about, but for the price I paid, this was just what I ordered. Would I return? Yes.
