What a great place to stay. Ideal for a business stop over with free wi fi and superb facilities in room and the kitchen was fabulous! Would love to come back and stay over again and take out one of the Morgans for a spin! Highly Recommended - well done Mel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It definitely caters to a certain type of person...one who likes super modern decor and a "diner" feel. Honestly, it had everything one could ask for and at a very good price. The owner is really attentive and he has quite a car collection...for those who like old time Morgan Stanleys!

American dinner and retro stay.

Interesting place to stay, with ‘Diner style’ breakfast room, nice rooms all in keeping with the theme! The most important thing, we got a great nights sleep every night for the three nights we stayed. Thank you and we will be back.

Det var et dejligt sted. Det enste jeg kan sætte en finger på var at det var gadiner der skulle trækkes for når man skulle på wc og ingen dør. Men det er også det eneste servicen var god stedet ligger rigtigt hyggeligt og der er flotte biler. Jeg kunne helt sikkert godt finde på at overnatte der igen.

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Frühstück läuft unter dem Motto „Help your Self“. Bei der hervorragend ausgestatteten Küche ein Vergnügen. Melvyn was very accommodating upon arrival and nothing was too much trouble, the room was clean and well equipped including a desktop in the room. The American style dinner was great and well equipped if you wanted to cook yourselves.

Außergewöhnliches B&B nicht nur für Morgan-Fans

The PitStop ist ein sehr außergewöhnliches B&B. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll und individuell. Alles ist sehr sauber und aufgeräumt und der Service bestens. Besonders interessant für Autofans und insbesondere Fans der englischen Marke Morgan. Der Betreiber des PitStop ist gleichzeitig Morgan Händler und Restaurator alter Morgan Fahrzeuge.

The hotel is quirky, interesting and the DIY element of meals lends itself perfectly to a group meeting up. We had a wedding and Sunday breakfast was perfect, friendly owners and diner is impressive. Rooms were interesting, clean and very well maintained

Quite and old fashioned looking place but this was a good thing because we enjoyed the quiet area and the quaint atmosphere to the hotel. The shower was great and they provided free snacks and free bottled water which we liked. Overall I would reccomend staying at the Pitstop!

Nice little gem in the English countryside

Loved the Pit Stop! Booked it for one night due to it's nearness to Stanstead Airport and so my husband could check out the Morgan cars in the Museum. Beautiful rooms and wonderful 50s diner stocked with everything you would want for a wonderful breakfast. Melvyn and Sindy have thought of everything and we would definitely stay again.

Most unique hotel I've ever visited

This hotel is an absolute find. I was initially put off when the post code took me to a working Morgan garage but once I was inside the room all my doubts disappeared. Beautiful room with lovely decoration. Had a self service kitchen all to myself which was well stocked with food and drink for breakfast. Decided rather than visiting a local pub it'd make more sense to cook my own dinner in the kitchem. All normal cooking equipment provided and a great night. Would definitely recomend this hotel very highly! Personally I stayed in the Drop Head Coupe room but looked in the other rooms which looked equally beautiful.

Delightfully different

We were attracted to this hotel from the posting on the internet and it did not disappoint. The styling was very individual and the attention to detail in the decor and facilities was outstanding. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well appointed, with an excellent shower. We loved the American-style diner, which allowed us to breakfast at our leisure.

A very well though out boutique b&b. Very clean, excellent all round quality of service. Based around an art deco theme, very much influenced by Morgan cars, as it is located at a Morgan garage. Good location for Stansted airport. This is to a quality that other b&b establishments should aspire. Well recommended.
