For the money it was a great experience. Accommodating staff who checked on us to make sure we were ok. It was really a nice little gem. This does not mean it wasn't a scary neighborhood, it was, but everyone we met was kind and no one acting scary.

I came to attend The Magic City Classic. I had stay here in 2023. I liked the area with quick access to downtown, the interstate, gas, food. The room was clean with the comforts of a refrigerator and microwave. I have no complaints about the noise or questionable guests. Overall it was very pleasant.

Comfortable Rest Stop in Birmingham

The Tourway is conveniently located near the Amtrak station & the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. Check-in was simple, & my room, though showing some signs of aging, was comfortable. Over all the stay was good. I’m not a picky person with hotels/motels/inns. The are was easy to get too. Check in was quick and easy. Host was nice. However, Lots of dead bugs under the beds and in some drawers, didn’t see any live ones which was good.

Im still here. Im paying per day. Its expensive but im in the process of seeking permanent lodgings . Tourway inn is walking distance to my job. Its clean quiet and i must say worth the money
