Not as good as hoped

Check-in problematic - There were issues as I paid on the Hotels.com app and they asked for payment. I showed email confirmation that I had paid. Came through as Experia on their system but didn't pay again. Single room, but very small with shower adjacent to TV and desk. Breakfast was included but poor, wouldn't have paid separately for it

Nice stay

Overall a good stay at the Beeches in Birmingham. The shower in the room could have been better but that's personal preference and I do not know what the showers were like in the other rooms.

Good staff but dated hotel

Very poor condition, dared hotel with single glazed windows. Bedroom in a separate building not good for lone female traveller. Staff friendly and very attentive and food acceptable.

Difficult to find the room with confusing sign. We hav to climb up and down with our luggages. Difficult to turn on the water in the shower, unusual knob and very tight.
