I enjoy staying at Redwing lodge, staff are always very friendly. I like the fact there's no rush to drink up if you come back late from a night out and fancy a pint . Also breakfast is enough for everyone taste

Room was very clean and parking was very easy. The Hotel is on a busy main road so you will hear some noise but this did not affect our stay and i would use this Hotel again.

Even for a budget hotel the experience was disappointing. The room was not particularly clean, we found a small insect in the bedsheets. Shower was dirty. Staff not particularly friendly. Decent amount of options for breakfast, adequate considering the price (£7pp if not included with the room)

The hotel is ok if you’re going for one night, staff are friendly, there’s room service until the early hours, however rooms are dated and the beds are very uncomfortable, if you suffer with a bad back this isn’t the place for you.

Laminated sheet in my room for “night bites” advertising food between 11pm - 4am. I decided to eat on my return, at about midnight, to be told that they only did food until “about” 8pm, so had to do without food !

The property requires upgrading. New mattress needed, chair in the room had seen better days, unable to watch tv no connection. Arrived at 3pm for check in had to wait while shift change taking place. Very noisy all night with traffic noise.

Stayed here more for convenience than star rating. Basic but clean, staff friendly enough. Only downside was the noise being on the busy ringroad, making it difficult if you stay on the front and having a window open.

The hotel was in a perfect location for the wulfrun. Room was basic but big enough for a family of 4. The room was a little dirty(hair and bits on the bed and floor), and the cups were not clean. We went down for breakfast at 9:45 and at 10 oclock on the dot all the food was cleared without asking if we would like anything else which we thought was a bit rude. We would stay here again if going to another gig
