The staff at the hotel were very friendly and chatty, really helpful too. The room was clean and the hotel stay included free access to the gym/fitness centre which was a lot better than could be reasonably expected, as well as a jacuzzi and a steam room. The pool was out of order and I didn't try the breakfast as I had an early morning for an event but would definitely stay again if I'm in the area

Upon arrival, we were informed the pool is faulty and can’t be accessed. The carpet on the hallways was extremely dirty. The room has very poor lighting. The bathroom had only a shower so it’s not convenient if you don’t want to wet your hair. There was dirty plates and rubbish left infront of most rooms for hours. Also, for breakfast, I would rate it 5/10. The buffet was stored in rusted heavy bowls and lids you will have to lift up. Also there was no hot chocolate just coffee and tea bags. Marcus, who was at the breakfast area was very helpful. I won’t recommend this hotel at all. And it’s definitely not a 4 star hotel, may a 2 star.

The room was decent. Comfy bed. Things were a bit tired in the room like the sink was cracked and chipped. We had room service. It took a decent length of time to get our food. Easy check in with friendly staff. Room and bed were very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were lovely with breakfast having a really good selection of items with plenty of staff around if needed. Hotel is a bit of a maze with odd staircases dotted around but I quite liked the adventure. A good stay, if I find myself needing to go to the Birmingham area again I'd definitely stay here again.

A very last minute stay after being let down by another property. The reception staff went above and beyond. Room was clean and had the most comfortable bed I've experienced in a hotel.
