Bad: not clean, smelled cleaning products when we arrived, took a while for te smell to go away. didnt bring extra pilows when i asked fot it, the reception said that it was on the way but never received it. This hotel is directly across the street from the convention center, symphony hall, Birmingham Rep and the library. Brindley Place is steps away. You really can't ask for a more convenient location. The hotel also has a terrific swimming pool (although the hours are somewhat limited). The room was clean and comfortable and included a refrigerator. There are two restaurants which we didn't use. We were a little disappointed that the property did not have a "market" to buy snacks or necessities and there isn't anything in the immediate area (nearest is a Sainsbury Express about 4 blocks away). The rooms are spacious. The staff was helpful with calling a taxi.
