Great, friendly hotel

Great hotel, lovely food and friendly, helpful staff. Lisa remembered us from a previous visit which was so lovely. She was so lovely and gave us good advice on places to visit

The hotel is beautiful with excellent staff members who can't do enough for you. The restaurant food is lovely and the breakfast included is such good value for money. Everyone was very happy on the business trip. One only issue is the guest Wifi is quite weak from the upstairs rooms so had to come to the bar to do some work. Thank you Himley House for an amazing stay!!

Nice stay

Lovely rooms, with ensuite but even with the heating off and the window open it was too hot to sleep. Would be great idea to have bottles of water in the room, possibly a small fridge. Breakfast is excellent and so was dinner

Clean, comfortable. Unfortunately, our bedrooms opened onto the busy and mostly almost constantly noisy A road so was not great. Would have preferred a room at the back. Check in could have been more friendly. Did put us off dining in the restaurant. Would stay again but ask for a quieter room. Nice shower and tea tray.

Himley House stay

The hotel has undergone a substantial refurbishment with the external work still being finished. We were very happy with the comfortable bed, power shower, and little extra touches like chocolate on arrival. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent and good value. We would definitely stay again.

Family occasion stay

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Really tastefully decorated rooms, the beds were comfy and bedding lovely. The staff were so friemdly and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant served a wide range of products for all meals and snack times. We loved the breakfast xhoices, and favourite meals were sausage and mash, with halloumi fries as our favourite bar snack. Fantastic stay which was great value for money.

Hotel rooms were comfortable, roomy and have plenty of extras. Tea/coffee facilities plentiful, toiletries supplied very high quality. The bed was fabulous, very comfortable and cozy. Restaurant was a great experience, food very tasty and good portions. Staff all excellent. Friendly, polite and knowledgeable.

Lovely hotel with bar and restaurant. The room was very comfortable with excellent tea and coffee making facilities. Comfortable bed with very spacious bathroom. We did not eat in the restaurant but the food looked nice. The staff were very friendly the only down side was the prices of the drinks at the bar.

The room was contemporary and generally clean. A little dust around the wardrobe doors and lampshade over the bed. The traffic noise was quite loud as the sash window is only half double glazed. Overall, a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will stay again when we’re back up in the area.

Friendly and welcoming, staff dealt with queries effectively. The restaurant evening meal was delicious as well as the breakfast. I recommend the Farmer's breakfast. Room facilities and decor were great especially the coffee bags and the milk churn for fresh milk, which you could acquire at the bar. However, the bedroom was a bit stuffy so we had to keep the window open which for a light sleeper meant being woken early by traffic noise on the A449.
