Upon arrival the hotel looks nice on a corner less than a mile from an event we were in town for. There was limited street parking and the parking garage across from the hotel specifically said for Valet and permits only with a big towing sign so we went back to valet the car. There was no mention or any signage of cost so we assumed, like many places, it’s a tip only cost. {It was in fact not- and we were charged over $46 for the night and when asked the front desk they directed us to the valet company who told us someone should have mentioned the price AND there is no signage because the cost is dynamic. Essentially, they can change the price and charge you whatever they want. Ridiculous we will be disputing this.}
The hotel itself was lovely, seemingly a little understaffed when we arrived for check-in. No one was at the front desk, and someone mentioned they would be right there, same with checkout. No one was readily available to check us out.
We were excited to stay here for the rooftop bar, but unfortunately we were staying on a Sunday night and the rooftop is closed Sunday and Monday night.
The rooms were quaint and updated, a little bit like a New York feel, with a close quarters, but well-organized and gives you everything you need. The beds were comfortable with plush bedding and blackout curtains.
The body products and shampoos were organic and of good quality, which was a nice plus.
Overall worth the $300 spent, but not worth a $47/night valet.
